Do you want to master the art of cooking?
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned cook looking to perfect your Jollof game, our Naija Jollof Cooking Classes offer a fun, hands-on experience that brings the rich flavours of Nigeria straight to your kitchen.
Beauty Obasuyi arrived in Canada as a refugee, facing many challenges. Her passion for African cuisine led her to start NaijaJollof, which has become a community favorite.
From One Location to Five: The Growth of Naija Jollof
NaijaJollof grew from one to five locations due to Beauty’s dedication and the quality of her dishes. Her entrepreneurial skills and love for cooking drove this expansion.
Beauty is not just a chef but also a storyteller and advocate of Nigerian culture. As the founder of NaijaJollof, she shares Nigerian cooking with communities across Ontario.
In January 2024, Beauty aimed to break the Guinness World Record for the longest solo cooking marathon. Initially planning for eight days (192 hours), she extended it to 18 days (448 hours) due to community support and her determination.
At Naija Jollof, our mission is to preserve and promote authentic Nigerian cuisine by teaching the skills, techniques, and traditions that make our food special. Through interactive and engaging cooking classes, we aim to bring diverse people together, one delicious meal at a time.
We envision a world where the rich and diverse flavors of Nigerian cuisine are celebrated globally.
Our goal is to empower food lovers with the knowledge and confidence to cook, share, and enjoy Nigerian meals, creating lasting memories in every kitchen.
